This fresco, located in the Old Testament end of the Lady Chapel, is of Ruth, great-grandmother of David, and her mother in law Naomi. Both important figures in the Bible, especially Ruth who has a book named after her, and according to Matthew is an ancestor of Jesus.

Lady Chapel - Virgin Birth
On the east end of St Jude's Church and to the left of the chancel is the Lady Chapel. It is the oldest part of the church and was opened for worship in 1910.
