This fresco located abovre the entrance of the Lady Chapel is Starmer's representation of the Old Testament verse of Hannah bringing her son Samuel to live with Eli. This is common with the East End of the the Lady Chapel which is more Old Testament focussed in its mural depictions.

On the east end of St Jude's Church and to the left of the chancel is the Lady Chapel. It is the oldest part of the church and was opened for worship in 1910.
