Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue during WWII

During WWII, both the Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue and the Alyth Synagogue were involved in securing the wellbeing of the Kindertransport children fleeing the Holocaust. During the course of the war, a bomb hit the synagogue and destroyed part of the hall.
