Located in the St John's Chapel, this green and white marble altar is by church architect Lutyens.

The central panel is a depiction of St John, the snake emerging from his chalice is in reference to the legend in which the Saint was given poisin to drink as a test. Despite having killed two other men John survived the poisin and brought the other two to life. It is by Maurice Greiffenhagen.
