PRIVATE ALFRED FALCONER,

8th East Surrey Regiment

Died 10 (13th?) October 1916 aged 41

 

He was killed in action in France. He had lived with his elderly father and sister at 157 Willifield Way. He is resting in Bancourt British Cemetery in France, a cemetery designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and is also remembered on the Free Church memorial.
