Died 25th April 1918
He was hit by a bullet that killed him instantly. He had previously been slightly wounded, but carried on with disregard to his own personal safety. His parents were early church members who lived at 162 Hampstead Way. He is remembered at Tyne Cot memorial and on the Free Church memorial.
