This engraved marble stone commemorates the long serving vicar Rev William Maxwell Rennie who served from 1936-54 when he sadly passed away in office. He and his wife guided the church through The Second World War, in which their son perished.

This is a memorial to the third vicar of St Jude's, Rev William Maxwell Rennie. This bust was created, like with the horse memorial, by Rennie's daughter Rosemary. He died in office in 1954.
