This letter is from the Co-Partnership Ltd to the Synagogue in 1936, giving them notice to fix hedges and fences within one month, showing the adherence to Suburb asthetics. 

'I understand from our solicitors that arrangements are now being made for you tot make up the Lease of these premises, but would respectfully point out that the fences have not yet been fixed nor the hedges planted and as the season for hedge planting is rapidly approaching its end, it is highly desirable that the work should be carried out at once. I am therefore giving you notice under Clause 2 of the building agreement that the said hedges and fences must be fixed within one month from todays date.'
