- Specialising in textile, wallpaper and carpet design, the studio popularised Art Nouveau through its work for Liberty's, Sanderson's etc.
- Works in the collections of the Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture, Middlesex University.
- His brother Rex worked with him and lived at 9 Wellgarth Road (electoral register 1947)
