Pageant Committee puts on June Masque

The June Masque was written by an inhabitant of Hampstead Garden Suburb, Paul Jewitt, and is a play about the end of winter and how the Earth awakens again for spring and summer. There was singing and Morris-dancing, and the field that the masque was located in was said to be the perfect location by a journalist for the Pall Mall Gazette.
