Formed after World War I in 1920 after uniting the Pageant Committee with the indoor dramatic activities of the Suburb, it eventually merged with the Speedwell Players in 1966 to form the Garden Suburb Theatre which is still active now.

These photos show the good fun the actors appear to be having whilst performing Shakespeare's the Merry Wives of Windsor in Little Wood, 1952. Shown in the first photo is Phylis Moore who donated most of the Play and Pageant Union documents and photos.
