Waterlow Court Interior 1910
This photo shows the interior of a Waterlow Court flat taken in 1910, one year after it was opened in 1909. Waterlow Court was originally set up to provide affordable accomodation for single working young women, when it was unusual for young single women to live away from their parents.
The building is internationally recognised for both its architectual and historical importance and is grade two listed.
It also includes an article written in 1911 about the building and its purpose.
