Horace Taylor, 1881-1934
 

• Studied at the Camden School of Art, the Royal Academy Schools and the Royal Academy of Munich.
• Initially worked as a cartoonist for the Manchester Guardian.
• Transitioned to mostly commercial art as a poster designer and painter from 1922.
• Known for the London Transport poster series, which feature vibrant London life .
• His poster To Summer Sales by Underground auctioned for £5000.
