Rabbi Dr Weinstock had a doctorate in Oriental Languages and Philosophy and had been a teacher at the ‘Principal Jewish High School’ in Vienna. He moved to Britain in 1938, temporarily taking over from Reverend Bornstein until the appointment of Rabbi Lew in 1946.
